A friend when you
need it most

Facing marriage challenges in your Divorce? Choose Jennie as your McKenzie Friend. McKenzie Friends, commonly are accepted in Family Courts of England and Wales. The role enables you to have a friend by your side before any application to court, after you’ve recieved court direction and be present in the courtroom when things could get tough. The role provides practical, emotional and objective support. There is the added advantage to having a McKenzie Friend by your side when acting as a Litigant in Person (self representative), because court can feel like a lonely place.

McKenzie Friends offer in courtroom assistance, including a dress rehearsal to convey your position, moral support, note-taking, bundle and case paper assistance, and general advice. While they can’t directly address the court, they stand as a lawyer-free alternative providing significant support throughout proceedings.
